Who is responsible

Cleench is the controller of your data. For any privacy matter, including exercising your rights, write to [email protected].

What data we process

From creators: name, username, email, encrypted password or, if they sign in with Google, their Google account ID, language, photo, bio, and social media usernames, plus the requests and conversations in their account.

From people who send a request: name, email, brand, product or campaign, compensation, deadline, message, language, and chat messages. They don't need an account.

From people who contact a creator outside Cleench: if the creator adds that proposal, the details it contains, such as name, email, brand, and message.

Technical data: IP address and browser, to keep sessions active, limit abuse, and protect the service.

Visits to a creator's page: we count them without cookies, using an encrypted fingerprint of the IP and browser that is deleted the next day. We only keep the daily total, which only that creator can see.

How we use it

To provide the service: showing the creator's public page, delivering and managing requests, enabling the chat, and sending email notices. The legal basis is performing the contract with the creator and, for people sending a request, the steps they asked for by sending it.

To protect the service against spam and abuse, based on our legitimate interest in keeping it secure.

We don't sell personal data, show ads, or use third-party analytics. We count visits based on our legitimate interest in offering this statistic to creators.

Who can see the data

A creator's public page shows their name, username, photo, bio, and social links. Requests and chats are only accessible to the creator and to whoever holds the private link to that conversation, which shouldn't be shared. Neither side sees the other's email.

When the creator declines a request or marks a collaboration as completed, we email whoever sent the request a summary with its details and the full conversation. When it's completed, the creator also gets a copy. Each email is sent separately, without showing the other side's address.

We use these providers to run the service: Hetzner (hosting in Finland), Cloudflare (website security and delivery, and support email forwarding), Resend (email delivery), Google (only if you choose to sign in with your Google account), Stripe (payment of the Pro subscription), and Anthropic (AI reading of a proposal's text, only when the creator asks to fill in its details automatically).

Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. In those cases, the safeguards required by law apply, such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

For as long as the creator's account is active. If they delete it, we erase their account, photo, requests, and chats immediately, and these leave our backups within 30 days, unless the law requires us to keep them. Summaries already sent by email stay in the recipient's inbox.

Anyone who has sent a request can ask us to delete it at any time by writing to [email protected].

Your rights

You can request access to your data, or its correction, deletion, or portability, and you can object to or restrict its processing, by writing to [email protected]. You can also complain to your country's data protection authority.

If you have an account, you can change your profile and delete your account directly in Cleench.
